Love it, love it. I grew up sitting on my mom’s lap singing all the Disney songs out of the “old” Disney treasury and then when I got old enough, played them for myself. I love this new version. The songs aren’t simplified so they sound really good and I love that I can teach my kids the old songs along with the new.

My daughter loves this book. She enjoys practicing all of the time now. It contains Disney songs that I remember from the older movies, all the way to the current hits. I truly believe that anyone who buys it will have fun playing the music & will create new family memories. My kids even made breakfast for us & then sang “Be Our Guest” all to surprise us.

I was pleased with my purchase but I definitely think it could be better. I would classify the music difficulty as moderate/intermediate. I liked how the song choices covered a wide range of Disney movie categories. It contained very modern songs (from Atlantis, and Brother Bear) also contained very old songs (Snow White, etc.) It contained a good bit of music from Disney’s best (Aladdin, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast) as well as songs from old disney movies such as The Parent Trap and Old Yeller. And don’t forget the very contemporary Disney Park Songs and Broadway Collection.
One of the few complaints I had with the book was that the songs were cut short. Although I can understand that the chorus of the song is probably the most recognizable part, an intermediate piano player probably wants to play introductions and the full song. Although, I still commend Hal Leonard for including all the lyrics for the Vocal portion of the book.
The best part was the arrangements were not fake and were fairly easy to play and sound great. Definitely a good buy!

Beautiful songbook. Great color photographs from the Disney movies. Large collection from old to recent movies. Excellent accompaniments with singable arrangements. I highly recommend. Several songs from this book are listed in the Federation Contest List for Musical Theater vocal solos.
